Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Notice

To cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, students must provide at least 24 hours advance notice. This allows us to offer the time slot to other students and ensures efficient scheduling.

2. Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

• 24+ hours notice: No cancellation fee - full refund or rescheduling available
• 12-24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee - 50% refund or rescheduling available
• Less than 12 hours notice: Full lesson fee forfeited - no refund
• No-show: Full lesson fee forfeited - no refund

3. Rescheduling

Students may reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours notice at no additional charge. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson may be subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.

4. Package Lessons

For package lessons (10-hour packages):

• Unused lessons may be refunded on a pro-rated basis
• Refund requests must be made in writing
• Administrative fees may apply to refunds
• Lessons expire 12 months from the date of purchase

5. Road Test Cancellations

Road test packages have special cancellation terms:

• Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled road test
• Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the road test fee
• Car rental fees are non-refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours in advance

6. Weather and Emergency Cancellations

In cases of severe weather or emergencies:

• BlueStar Driving School may cancel lessons for safety reasons
• No cancellation fees apply when we cancel due to weather or emergencies
• Affected lessons will be rescheduled at no charge
• Students will be notified as soon as possible

7. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed as follows:

• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• Administrative fees may be deducted from refund amounts
• Contact us for refund requests

8. Instructor Cancellations

If an instructor cancels a lesson:

• We will provide at least 24 hours notice when possible
• The lesson will be rescheduled at no charge
• Full refund available if rescheduling is not possible
• No cancellation fees apply
